Answer:

2.26 gallons of the paint will be required.

Step-by-step explanation:

Jared wants to paint his room with dimensions 12 feet × 15 feet × 9 feet.

There are two windows of dimensions (6 feet × 5 feet) and two doors with dimensions (30 inches × 6 feet)

To paint this room we have to exclude the area of windows and doors from the area of walls of the room.

Area of walls = 2(Length + width)Height

                      = 2(12 + 15)9 = 2×27×9

                      = 18×27

                      = 486 feet²

Area of the windows = 2(6×5)

                                   = 60 feet²

Dimensions of doors = 30 inches by 6 feet

                                   = \frac{30}{12} feet by 6 feet

                                   = 2.5 feet by 6 feet

Area of the doors = 2(2.5 × 6)

                             = 30 feet²

Now area of the walls excluding windows and doors = 486 - (60 + 30)

                                                                                        = 486 - 90

                                                                                        = 396 feet²

∵ 350 square feet area is covered by paint = 1 gallon

∴ 1 square feet area will be covered by paint = \frac{1}{350} gallons

∴ 396 feet² area will be covered by the paint = \frac{396}{350}

                                                                           = 1.131 gallons

This volume of paint is sufficient for one coat so paint required for two coats = 1.131×2 = 2.26 gallons

Therefore, 2.26 gallons of paint will be required.

What is the value of x?
edge2020
mezya [45]

Answer:

95⁰

Step-by-step explanation:

next time you want to figure this out, here's how

- they are supplementary angles, so you just subtract 45⁰ from 180⁰

180-45=95

so, you would get the answer 95⁰

for next time, you might not have as much information as you do in this equation so be careful

hope this helps!

Some investments in the stock market have earned 10% annually. At this rate , earnings can be found using the formua A=P(1.10)^n
Lerok [7]
The earnings by a stock invested at r% for n years is obtained by the formular A = P(1 + r)^n; where P is the initial investment = 1,500; r is the interest rate = 10% and n is the numberof years of the investment. Here A = 1,500(1 + 0.1)^18 = 1,500(1.1)^18 = 8,339.88.Hope this helps. Let me know if you need additional help!

Which of the following methods can be used to find the derivative of y = arcsin x with respect to z ?
vfiekz [6]

Answer:

B) Ill only

Step-by-step explanation:

This is because y = arcsin x can be re-written as sin y = x, We then differentiate sin y = x implicitly with respect to z to obtain

d(siny)/dz = dx/dz

(cosy)dy/dz = dx/dz

dy/dz = (1/cosy)dx/dz
