Move the decimal: Another way to convert a quoted percentage to decimal format is to move the decimal two places to the left. Remember, if you don’t see a decimal, just imagine that it’s at the end, or far right side, of the number. Imagine that the decimal is followed by two zeroes if that helps.

alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

As an improper fraction: 8463/32

As a mixed number 264 15/32

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Multiply the base number times the denominator, then add the numerator to that number, and put it over the original denominator.

2. Do this for all of the numbers

3. multiply straight across, top*top*top, then bottom*bottom*bottom numbers. That number will be your improper fraction. Then divide that top number by the bottom denominator, take it out, leave the remainder as the numerator, and you have your mixed number.

george completed 3/5th of work in 9 days with the help of paul he completes remaining work in 4 days.In how many days paul alone
IRINA_888 [86]
If George completed 3/5 of work in 9 days, it means that he needs 3 days to finish 1/5th of the work.

The remaining part is 2/5 because 1-3/5=2/5. 2/5 is also 6/15

From this, how much did George do? in the first 3 days he did 1/5th and then one more day was left, during which he did 1/5/3=1/15th.

So he did in total 1/15+1/5=1/15+3/15=4/15.
this means that Paul did the rest of 6/15, so Paul did 6/15-4/15=2/15.

So we know that he does 2/15 in 4 days, which means that every two days he can do 1/15 of the work

so he would need 15 times 2 days to finish the work - 30 days!

A simple die is thrown 100 times and the number five appears 14 times. Find the experimental probability of throwing a five, giv
mario62 [17]

Answer:

The experimental probability of throwing a five is 0.087.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Number of trials (n) = 100

Number of times 5 appears (x) = 14

Let the event of occurrence of 5 be success and the probability represented by 'p'. So, all the other numbers occurrence is failure and its probability is represented as 'q'.

Probability of success is given as:

p=\frac{Number\ of\ favorable\ events}{Total\ number\ of\ outcomes}

Favorable event is occurrence of 5. So, its number is 1 as there is only one 5 in the die. Total outcomes are 6 as there are six numbers. So,

p=\frac{1}{6}

Now, probability of failure is given by the formula:

q=1-p=1-\frac{1}{6}=\frac{5}{6}

Now in order to find the experimental probability of 14 successes out of 100 trials, we apply Bernoulli's theorem which is given as:

P(x) = ^nC_xp^xq^{n-x}

Plug in all the given values and find the probability of 14 successes. This gives,

P(x=14)=^{100}C_{14}(\frac{1}{6})^{14}(\frac{5}{6})^{100-14}\\\\P(x=14)=0.087

Therefore, the experimental probability of throwing a five is 0.087.

Does anyone know how to solve this?
Bezzdna [24]

Use this version of the Law of Cosines to find side b:

b^2 = a^2 + c^2 − 2ac cos(B)

We want side b.

b^2 = (41)^2 + (20)^2 - 2(41)(20)cos(36°)

After finding b, you can use the Law of Sines to find angles A and C or use other forms of the Law of Cosines to find angles A and C.

Try it....
