we are given two points as

(2,4) and (-2,-4)

Let's assume

first point as (x1,y1)=(2,4)

so, x1=2 and y1=4

Second  point as (x2,y2)=(-2,-4)

so, x2=-2 and y2=-4

now, we can use slope formula

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

now, we can plug values

m=\frac{-4-4}{-2-2}

now, we can simplify it

m=2

so, slope is 2 ..................Answer

Adam would like to buy a used car, and collected several data to evaluate the best model (such as age, price, weight, etc.) Than
9966 [12]

Answer: There is a strong association between age and weight.

Step-by-step explanation:

The correlation coefficient (r) is used to describe the relationship between two variables.

-1\leq r\leq1

If r lies between -1 to -0.5 or 0.5 to 1, then there is strong association between them.

Here,  Variables: Age and weight.

correlation coefficient = 0.512

That means, there is a strong association between age and weight.

The rectangular prism with volume 120 cm3, width 5 cm, and height 3cm. what is the length
Ratling [72]

Answer:

L = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a rectangular prism is found by V = L*h*w. Substitute V = 120, w = 5 and h =3 then solve for the length.

120 = L*3*5

120 = 15L

8 = L

Two boys decided to buy a computer. The second boy had 5/6 of the money the first had. The first boy had 7/8 of the price of the
UNO [17]

Answer:

The price of the computer is $1,152

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the price of the computer be $x

The first boy boy had 7/8 of this amount, the amount he has is thus 7/8 × $x = 7x/8

The second boy had 5/6 of what the first boy had. The amount of money he has is thus 5/6 × 7x/8 = 35x/48

Now, the addition of what they have is $696 more than what they need to pay. This amount is x+ 696

Mathematically, this can be represented as;

7x/8 + 35x/48 = x + 696

(42x + 35x)/48 = (x + 696)

77x/48 = (x + 696)

77x = 48(x + 696)

77x = 48x + 33408

77x - 48x = 33408

29x = 33, 408

x = 33,408/29

x = $1,152
