I don’t know which one you need help with so I’ll answer #1. A triangle cannot have two right angles because the angles in a triangle have to add up to 180°. Since a right angle is 90°, two of those will make 180°. Since a triangle has three angles, that doesn’t leave anything for the third angle, and you can’t have a 0° angle. Also, you could have figured this out by trying to draw it, it’s impossible! This is because it would require a fourth line to complete the shape, which makes it a square!

Two ways to solve -2(4x+3)=12x-6
olasank [31]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{x=0}

Step-by-step explanation:

-2(4x+3)=12x-6\qquad\text{divide both sides by (-2)}\\\\4x+3=-6x+3\qquad\text{subtract 3 from both sides}\\\\4x=-6x\qquad\text{add}\ 6x\ \text{to both sides}\\\\10x=0\qquad\text{divide both sides by 10}\\\\\boxed{x=0}\\\\=================================

-2(4x+3)=12x-6\qquad\text{use the distributive property}\ a(b+c)=ab+ac\\\\(-2)(4x)+(-2)(3)=12x-6\\\\-8x-6=12x-6\qquad\text{add 6 to both sides}\\\\-8x=12x\qquad\text{subtract}\ 12x\ \text{from both sides}\\\\-20x=0\qquad\text{divide both sides by}\ (-20)\\\\\boxed{x=0}

How do you simplify (2xy2)3
pantera1 [17]
(2xy^{2})^{3} = (2xy^{2})(2xy^{2})(2xy^{2})
Now, we can just multiply it and obtain the result
(2xy^{2})(2xy^{2})(2xy^{2})=(4x^{2}y^{4})(2xy^{2})=8x^{3}y^{6}

I used law presented on this example
2^{3}*2=2^{3}*2^{1}=2^{3+1}=2^{4}

Given csc A= 37/12 and that angle A is in Quadrant I, find the exact value of sec A in
vredina [299]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Below is the pic of how this would be set up in order to determine what it is you are looking for. The angle is set in QI, and since csc A is the reciprocal of sin, the ratio is hypotenuse over side opposite. Solve for the missing side using Pythagorean's Theorem:

37^2=12^2+b^2 and

1369 = 144 + b² and

1225 = b² so

b = 35

The sec ratio is the reciprocal of cos, so if cos is adjacent over hypotenuse, the sec is hypotenuse over adjacent, which is 37/35
