evaluate g(p) times h(p) by modeling or by using the distributive property. g(p)=(p-2) and h(p)=(p^3+4p^2-2)

we are given

g(p)=(p-2)

h(p)=(p^3+4p^2-2)

now, we can multiply them

g(p)\times h(p)=(p-2)\times (p^3+4p^2-2)

g(p)\times h(p)=p\times p^3+p\times 4p^2-p\times 2-2\times p^3-2\times 4p^2-2\times -2

now, we can simplify it

g(p)\times h(p)=p^4+4p^3-2p-2p^3-8p^2+4

so, we get

g(p)\times h(p)=p^4+2p^3-8p^2-2p+4.............Answer

What equation represents the inverse of y = e^2x - 9?
love history [14]

The inverse of this function is y = \frac{ln(x + 9)}{2}

You can find the inverse of any function by switching the x and y values. Once you've done that, you can solve for the new y. The result will be the inverse of the function. The work for this one is below.

y = e^{2x} - 9 ----> Switch the x and y

x = e^{2y} - 9 -----> Add 9 to both sides

x + 9 = e^{2x} ----> Take the natural log (ln) of both sides. This will case the e to cancel on the right side.

ln(x + 9) = 2y ----> Divide both sides by 2.

y = \frac{ln(x + 9)}{2}

This will be your inverse function.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!<br> Determine the value of k that would make these two functions inverses.
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer: K = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

If you find the inverse of the inverse function, it will return back to initial function.

The inverse of r^-1 (x) will give r(x).

To find the inverse of r^-1(x), let it be equal to y. Interchange y and x for each other and make y the subject of formula. That is,

Y = 2x^2 - 14

Interchange y for x

X = 2y^2 - 14

2y^2 = x + 14

Y^2 = x/2 + 14/2

Square both side

Y = sqrt ( x/2 + 7 )

It is only when K = 6, that will can get the value above.

Please help, I'm not sure how to do this one!

Deviation means possible distance in between sometimes 52,300-8,260 is 44,050 so that rules out b because 36,875 us belie 44,050 making the answer a but its always best to check anyways so 52,300+8,260 is 60,550 and 56,236 is in 60,550 so the answer is A
