Answer: Wave transmission

Explanation:

The wave transmission is the process in which the energy are get transmitted by moving the electromagnetic waves such as radio waves and the ultraviolet rays.

The wave of the light are get absorbed by an object when the energy of an object are converted into the form of heat.

By an object the light wave can also be reflected. When the light are get reflected the transmission of wave are also get reduced and it absorbed by the material molecules.

Answer;

Wave transmission

Wave transmission is the passing of a wave through an object

Explanation;

 • Wave energy may not be reflected upon a wave hitting an object but transmitted into or through the object.
 • During wave transmission, some energy of a wave may be absorbed within the material. Transmission of a wave through a material is due to vibration of particles in the medium and thus transfer of energy.
 • The speed at which the wave is transmitted through a material depends on the properties of the material. Waves are transmitted faster in solid materials as compared to liquid and gaseous materials.

Nutka1998 [239]

Answer:

1. D. Only DNA contains genetic information

2. D. Nitrogen and Phosphorus

Explanation:

1. Lipids are insoluble in water unlike other molecules. It stores energy within the fat tissues and cushion internal organs against trauma.

Carbohydrates are sugar units such as monosaccharides, disaccharides molecules which makes up starch that is fuel to your cells.

DNA is a type of nucleic acid that contains genetic information which influences your personal characteristics.

2. The family Rhopalodiaceae has the ability to perform nitrogen fixation, which allows diatoms to fix atmospheric nitrogen. And phosphorus has been found in some diatom species in the Black sea region which does not affect its reproduction rate and also helps in carbon cycle.

Explain how organisms changes within an environment affect their survival. Specifically discuss the effects of a gene mutation f
maw [93]
Animals gradually adapt to changes within their environment over time. This gives them a better chance of surviving rather than going extinct because of the change. Say there is a gene mutation affecting color within a population of beetles in a rain-forest. All of the beetles used to be red, but now a few of them have experienced a gene mutation and are green. Because they live in a rain-forest, it is likely that the green beetles would blend in with their surroundings far better than the original red beetles, and those red beetles would be wiped out by predators because they are easier to spot. The green beetles would live on and flourish, and their population would increase. Soon there would be few or none red beetles, and many green beetles.

The graph above shows the progress of an enzyme-catalyzed chemical reaction. Based on the graph, this enzyme (2 points)
Sholpan [36]

Answer: works optimally at 20°C

Enzymes are a broad group of biological catalysts that have the role of accelerating chemical reactions by binding to molecules and altering them in specific ways. They are essential to the correct functioning of the body.

Enzymes function only at certain temperatures and pH ranges. The enzyme shown in the graph works optimally at 20°C. This is shown by the fact that the reaction rate, enhanced by the enzyme, reaches a maximum at this temperature. The higher the temperature, the more effective the enzyme.

However, at temperatures higher than this optimal threshold, the enzyme will gradually decrease in efficiency. To high or low temperatures will have this effect.

What is the BEST example of Newton's 1st law of motion?
Alla [95]

Answer:

All objects that have balanced forces acting on them must be stationary is an example of Newton's first law of motion.

Explanation:

 • Newton's First law of motion is the Law of inertia, that states a body continues to be in state opf rest or state of motion untill an unbalanced force acts on it.
 • So if a body has all balanced forces acting on it then it will continue to remain in state of rest i.e. it will be stationary.
 • The first example describes Newton's third law, that every action has equal and opposite reaction.
 • The second and third example supports Newton's Second Law, the law of momentum which states that the rate of change oif momentum is directly proportional to the force applied on the body and the mass of the body.
