Answer: In response to stress, cells in the adrenal medulla release epinephrine and norepinephrine, which mediate fight-or-flight responses.

Explanation:

The endocrine system, also called the internal secretion gland system, is the set of organs and tissues in the body, which secrete a type of substance called hormones. Hormones are chemicals produced by the endocrine glands that move through the body in the bloodstream. They control many biological processes, for example muscle growth, heart rate, hunger, and the menstrual cycle.

On the other hand, the nervous system is a complex set of cells in charge of directing, supervising and controlling all the functions and activities of our organs and body in general. The nervous system is in charge of relating us to the outside world and of controlling all the other functions of the organism.

The organisms detect changes in the environment, called stimuli, and elaborate actions called responses. The stimuli are captured by receptor sensory cells and converted into nerve impulses, which are transmitted to a nerve centre. So all of this is done by the nervous system. The nerve center emits another impulse that reaches the effector organ, and it elaborates the response which is done by the endocrine system by releasing hormones that control different functions of the body.

For example, in response to stress, cells in the adrenal medulla (an important gland of the body) release epinephrine and norepinephrine (hormones), which mediate fight-or-flight responses. This is a physiological response to the perception of harm, attack or threat to survival.

What two components constitute an active mpf? a growth factor and mitotic factor atp synthetase and a protease cyclin and tubuli
a_sh-v [17]

The answer is tubulin cyclin and a cyclin-dependent kinase

The two components that constitute an active maturation-promoting factor (MPF) is tubulin cyclin and a cyclin-dependent kinase. MPF stimulates the mitotic and meiotic phases of the cell cycle. It has the ability to phosphorylate target proteins at a specific point in the cell cycle and thereby control their ability to function.

Capillaries that surround the proximal convoluted tubules are
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

Peritubular capillaries.

Explanation:

Proximal convoluted tubules plays an important role in the process of urine formation. This tubule is present between the convoluted parts of loop of henle and bowman's capsule.

Peritubular capillaries are the small blood vessels that are mainly supplied by efferent arterioles. These capillaries help in the secretion and reabsorption between the blood and the lumen of the nephron. Peritubular capillaries are surrounded in the proximal convoluted tubules.

Thus, the answer is peritubular capillaries.
