• The prototyping methodology does not have as many possibilities of experimenting as the Waterfall methodology has.
• It is difficult to change the initial steps taken in the project if the project is developed using the prototyping methodology.
• Prototyping-based methodologies are not well suited to detailed analysis and design of complex projects.
• It is difficult to find the lacunas in the project after using the prototyping methodology.
