Oen cupcake  = 3/8 cups

Number of cupcakes:

Yeah not just one letter but two letters perpendicular to another two letters. Each 2 letters like AB is a straight line which is crossed by another 2 letters making it perpendicular.

The distance from Gary's school to the corner market is 47 yards.The distance to the BART station is 12 times as far How far is
andre [41]

Answer:

The distance from Gary's school to  the BART station is 564 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ----> the distance  from Gary's school to the corner market

y ----> the distance from Gary's school to  the BART station

we have

x=47\ yd

we know that

To find out the distance from Gary's school to  the BART station, multiply the distance from Gary's school to the corner market by 12

so

y=12x

substitute the value of x

y=12(47)=564\ yd

therefore

The distance from Gary's school to  the BART station is 564 yards

Answer:

y = 9x - 11

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Calculate m using the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 3, - 38) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (8, 61)

m = \frac{61+38}{8+3} = \frac{99}{11} = 9, thus

y = 9x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute either of the 2 points into the partial equation

Using (8, 61), then

61 = 72 + c ⇒ c = 61 - 72 = - 11

y = 9x - 11 ← equation of lie
