Why were colonist so angry that they boarded ships containing tea in Boston and other colonies?

English

The colonist were so angry that they started something called the "Boston Tea Party", because the tea act was announced. History lesson! The Tea Act was an act made to tax the colonies to show that the British were in control. The colonist believed, since they had no vote in the British government, that this was taxation without representation . When the colonist protested, and refused to buy tea, the British blocked the Boston Harbor and said no one may leave until the tea was unloaded. This made the colonist mad, so they "unloaded the tea" by dumping it into the harbor. That started another act called the coercive acts or the unforgivable acts, but that's a lesson for another time!<span />

Why would marguerite see god as white? In the book i know why the caged bird sings
lidiya [134]

Answer:

Explanation: In this autobiography, Maya attempts to write a critique of racism and its implications. Marguerite would see God as white as the consequence of bigotry of religion and 'God' she has faced and considers it to be the entity of whites. she always had intimidation towards the church which led her to face several penances. she was grown in a highly religious town and thus has a longing and affection towards the God since childhood as it was the only thing according to her which could affirm her worth in the society and imposes very high moral codes and conducts upon her. But as she grows up she realizes her self-worth and understands that the religion can stimulate ignorance and submissiveness.
