Option A,B,C,D,F are False

Option E is True

Step-by-step explanation:

Finding graphs of the equation: y= -4x+6

Checking all the options.

A) (-4,-10)

Plugging value of x as -4 and y as -10

-10=(-4)(-4)+6

-10 = 16+6

-10 ≠ 22

So, both sides of the equation will not be equal.

B) (-4,-22)

Plugging value of x as -4 and y as -22

-22=(-4)(-4)+6

-22=16+6

-22 ≠ 22

So, both sides of the equation will not be equal.

C) (1,10)

Plugging value of x as 1 and y as 10

10=(-4)(1)+6

10 = -4+6

10 ≠ 2

So, both sides of the equation will not be equal.

D) (1,-2)

Plugging value of x as 1 and y as -2

-2=(-4)(1)+6

-2 = -4+6

-2 ≠ 2

So, both sides of the equation will not be equal.

E) (4,-10)

Plugging value of x as 4 and y as -10

-10=(-4)(4)+6

-10 = -16+6

-10 = -10

So, both sides of the equation will be equal.

F) (4,-22)

Plugging value of x as 4 and y as -22

-22=(-4)(4)+6

-22 = -16+6

-22 ≠ -10

So, both sides of the equation will not be equal.

So, Option A,B,C,D,F are False

Option E is True

In the following diagram lines m are n parallel the measures of AEB, BAE and CED are shown what is the measure of EBF
guapka [62]

Answer:

∠ EBF = 98°

Step-by-step explanation:

(3x - 15) and (2x + 10) are vertically opposite angles and are congruent, then

3x - 15 = 2x + 10 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

x - 15 = 10 ( add 15 to both sides )

x = 25

3x - 15 = 3(25) - 15 = 75 - 15 = 60°

The exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the 2 opposite interior angles.

∠ EBF is an exterior angle of the triangle , then

∠ EBF = 60° + 38° = 98°

100 POINTS! SOLVE FOR X. PIC ATTACHED. Random answers will be reported.
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

 • x = 29

Step-by-step explanation:

The angles (2x- 10) and (4x+ 16) are consecutive interior angles and therefore are corresponding

Corresponding angles sum to 180

 • (2x - 10) + (4x + 16) = 180
 • 6x + 6 = 180
 • 6x = 174
 • x = 174/6
 • x = 29

2 people working at the same rate will take 9 hours to paint a room. Assuming that they all work at this rate, how long will it
jeka57 [31]
So if 2 people take 9 hours to paint the room and you want to know how long it will take if 3 people were painting first you will have to find the slope, or the rate of change, to do this you have to divide 9/2.
9/2= 4.5
So it take 4.5 hours for one person to paint the room.
Therefore if there where three people painting it would be 3 x 4.5= 13 hours and 30 minutes.
The time it would take to paint the room would increase.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST‼️‼️ If the mean of the following frequency distribution is 24; determine the value of p.
liq [111]

Answer- P=18

Step-by-step explanation:

Greetings !

Firstly, find the class-midpoints (X) to solve for the mean.

Thus, mid points of each classes are

5.15.25.35.45

Solve, for p using mean grouped data formula

\frac{5(3) + 15(4) + 25(p) + 35(3) + 45(2)}{3 + 4 + p + 3 + 2} = 24

multiply each values add them and solve for p.

\frac{15 + 60 + 25p + 105 + 90}{12 + p} = 24

make a cross multiplication

270 + 25p = 24(12 + p) \\ 270 + 25p = 288 + 24p

subtract 270 from both sides

270 + 25p - 270 = 288 + 24p - 270 \\ 25p = 24p + 18

subtract 24p from both sides

25p - 24p = 24p + 18 - 24p \\ p = 18

Hope it helps!
