Answer:

Since there are the same amount we add all the values up.

Nickle = 0.05

Dime = 0.10

Quarter = 0.25

Add them all up

0.05 + 0.10 + 0.25 = 0.4

6 / 0.40 = 15

There is 15 of each coin

An equation would be 6 / (N + D + Q) = Answer

Hope this helps

Answer: 15 of each coin

Step-by-step explanation:

So there are 3 types of coins and we know that there has to be the same number of coins. A nickle is worth 5, dime is 10, quarter is 25. So lets make an equation with the variable a. "A" equals the constant that each coin is multiplied by.

.5a + .10a + .25a = 6.00, lets solve for "a" now.

.40a = 6.00, then 6.00/.40 = 15

And there you go, there is 15 of each coin. Lets check if this is actually correct tho.

.5 x 15 = .75

.10 x 15 = 1.50

.25 x 15 = 3.75

.75 + 1.50 + 3.75 = 6.00

Does anyone know how many ways you can make 16 and 19 on a grid
sasho [114]
You can look for the number 16 on the x-axis. (bottom line) and put a finger there. Then, look for 19 on the y -axis (left line) and put a finger there. Trace your left finger to the right and your right hand up until they meet. That is (16,19)

Simplify the expression 4(x − 5)(x2 + x + 2).
N76 [4]

Answer:

  4x^3 − 16x^2 − 12x − 40

Step-by-step explanation:

= 4(x)(x^2 +x +2) +4(-5)(x^2 +x +2) . . . use the distributive property

= 4x^3 +4x^2 +8x -20x^2 -20x -40 . . . . and again

= 4x^3 -16x^2 -12x -40

A 12 1/2 mile stretch of road needs repaving . A company bids on the repaving project saying they could replace 2 1/4 miles of r
Nataly [62]

2 1/4 miles => 1 week

1 mile => 1 ÷ 9/4

( 9/4 is an improper fraction of 2 1/4 )

12 1/2 miles => ( 1 ÷ 9/4 ) × 25/2

= 50/9

= 5 5/9 weeks

( 25/2 is an improper fraction of 12 1/2 )

Therefore, it will take 5 5/9 weeks for the company to replace the stretch of road.

( you can round it off to 6 weeks if the qn specify to give to the nearest whole number )

If an angle is obtuse what type of angle is its supplement
Butoxors [25]
The supplement of an obtuse angle is an acute because the angle number for an obtuse angle is any number greater than 90 degrees. So an acute angle is less than 90 degrees. The "supplement" definition is "any number less than 180 degrees."

Hope this helps,
