Young immigrant women have contributed greatly to the establishment of new social and political norms. Occupying positions of work, populating, settling, along with American women, changing the scenario for the improving of women's rights. Relevant issues to an urgent social change, since in quantity, the number of women immigrants were greater. They had to give a better look on their work conditions. Through young immigrant women Young immigrant women , american women was also encouraged to embrace the labor  movement in large  numbers at the turn of  the century, often  engaging in brief  unorganized work  stoppages to protest  their conditions and also  joining established  unions. That was for sure one of the great changes in the social norms in the american society.
