There are basically three (3) parts or components of attitude, these are:
Affective component: which deals the feelings and emotions towards an object
Behavioral component: this deals with the displayed behavior towards an object
Cognitive component: this refers to the knowledge, beliefs, and thoughts about an object.
In the example given in the above question, <em>Kim’s thought and knowledge about all the disadvantages and advantages of turning a neighborhood park into an industrial zone, of which she believes would be better off if the community eventually does this, represents the cognitive part or component of her attitude.
