Answer:

Frankie is 1 minute and 43 seconds faster.

Step-by-step explanation:

Normal Time taken by frankie to complete 5km=31 minutes 21 seconds

yesterday,  Time taken by frankie to complete 5km=29min 38seconds

therefore time difference=31 minutes 21 seconds-29min 38seconds

=1minute 43seconds

Find the point, M, that divides segment AB into a ratio of 5:5 if A is at (0, 15) and B is at (20, 0).
Airida [17]

C

a ratio of 5 : 5 simplifies to 1 : 1, which basically means we require the midpoint of the line segment

using the midpoint formula

M = [\frac{1}{2} (0 + 20 ), \frac{1}{2} (15 + 0)] = (10, 7.5 )

What is the equation for a line that has an x-intercept of 2 and a y-intercept of -6?
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

An x-intercept of 2 implies

(

2

,

0

)

is a point on the line

A y-intercept of 4 implies

(

0

,

4

)

is a point on a line

The slope of the line joining

(

2

,

0

)

and

(

0

,

4

)

is

#(Delta y)/(Delta x) = (4-0)/(0-2) = -2

Using the slope-intercept form of the equation

y

=

m

x

+

b

where

m

is the slope and

b

is the y-intercept

we have

y

=

I will pick the brainiest answer! Thanks! :)
umka21 [38]

Answer:

The first one: if 2/3 is 12 then 1/3 is 6. 3/3 is 18. SO Jane had 18 stuffed animals  before the donation.

The second one: 25 students then 13 are men so 25-13 is 12. 12/25 as a percentage is 48%

Hope this helps!
