Answer:

a) 10912 Yards

b) 9977.93 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following information in the question.

1 Meter = 100 Centimeter

1 Inch = 2.54 Centimeter

1 Foot = 12 Inch

1 Yard = 3 Foot

1 Mile = 1760 Yards

The length of race is 6.2 miles.

a) We have to find length of race in yards.

Since we know 1 Mile = 1760 Yards

Thus, 6.2 Miles = 6.2 × 1760 Yards = 10912 Yards

Thus , the race is 10912 yards in length.

b) We have to calculate the length of the race in meters.

Since we know 1 Mile = 1760 Yards

Thus. 6.2 miles = \frac{(6.2)(1760)(3)(12)(2.54)}{100} = 9977.93 meters

Can you help me with any of these please (not lazy don't understand )
Anarel [89]
I believe the first one is h becuase there is a y on the left side.
for the second one just find the slope for the points and see which one doesn't fit in the groups (I would use tables)
and for the last one try writing equations for them.

but idk tho that's just what I would do.

Xelga [282]

If certain refrigerator requires 170 watts of electricity when it is running. It typically runs about 20 minutes per hour. The amount it cost to run this refrigerator for one year if the cost per kWh is $0.11 is: $53.856.

Cost

Given:

Electricity watts = 170 watts

Minutes run = 20 minutes

Cost per KWh =$0.11

Hence,

170 watts = 1.7×10^-1

20 min = 1/3 h

Now let calculate the cost of running the refrigerator for one year

1.7×10^-1 × 1/3 × 24 ×360 × $0.11

= $53.856

Therefore If certain refrigerator requires 170 watts of electricity when it is running. It typically runs about 20 minutes per hour. The amount it cost to run this refrigerator for one year if the cost per kWh is $0.11 is: $53.856.
