Answer:

Homeostasis refer to as the maintainence of equillibrium within the body. Endocrine systems play a major role in maintainence of equillibrium. The hormones released are continuously inactivated by negative feeback system to maintain homeostsis.

Explanation:

Homeostasis in a body is refered as a dynamic equillibrium which constantly changes. Feedback regulation systems maintain homeosatsis.

The release of hormones into the blood is controlled by a stimulus. A stimulus can increase or decrease the release of hormones. The response to a stimulus changes the internal conditions and may itself become a new stimulus. This self-adjusting mechanism is called feedback regulation.

There are two types of feedback systems.

Negative feedback occurs when the response to a stimulus reduces the original stimulus. Positive feedback occurs when the response to a stimulus increases the original stimulus.

If the hormones released are not controlled by these feedback systems, enormous amount of hormones will change the whole internal enviornment of the body ,hence, equillibrium will be disturbed and result in death of cells and death of an indivisual.

Is it possible for plant breeders to develop a true-breeding pink-flowered snapdragon?
abruzzese [7]

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

Pink flower colour in snapdragon is as a result of incomplete dominance. The pink flower colour has no allele in nature. Instead, the pink colour results from incomplete dominance of the allele that codes for red flower colour over the allele that codes for the white flower colour.

Assuming that the allele for red flower colour in the plant is R and the allele for white flower colour is r, true breeding red and white flower colour plants will have the genotype RR and rr respectively. In heterozygote state (Rr), the phenotype is usually pink, showing that the R allele has incomplete dominance over the r allele.

Hence, there is no way for plant breeders to develop a true-breeding pink-flowered snapdragon. without some genetic manipulations/mutation.

Answer:

The marked portion of that document needs to be changed into a portion with upgraded information that will reflect the new classification level.

Explanation:

The Original Classification Authority (OCA) abide by some rules such as:

 1. The OCA must be designated in writing, another way of designation won't be allowed.
 2. The OCA creates Security Classification Guides (SCGs) to help others develop classified materials.
 3. Only a few positions are designated as an OCA such as the President and Secretary of Defense.
