Health

Answer:

A quick patch can be used for ebola as it is so similar to Ebola virus that it would be obvious to the un - science.

A pill would be safe, easy to use, and could be taken as directed.

If people were buying the pill they would be informed of the different types of symptoms and of the disease.

Also, they would understand that it would not be able to be used for medical purposes.

If people knew that it was a malaria pill they would only buy it for a temporary illness.

The last thing to consider is the price.

This will be determined by where the pill will be marketed first.

What are five body functions that monitor homeostasis?
KIM [24]

It regulates temperature, glucose, toxins, blood pressure, and pH.

Temperature
The body must maintain a relatively constant temperature. If it gets too hot, the body employs vasodilation to cool down. This dilates the blood vessels, allowing more heat to escape from them through the skin.Glucose
The body must regulate glucose levels to stay healthy. When glucose levels become too high, the body releases a hormone called insulin. When they become too low, the body converts the glycogen in the blood to glucose.Toxins
Toxins in the blood can disrupt the body's homeostasis. Thus, it signals the urinary system to ensure that the toxins are excreted.Blood Pressure
The body must maintain healthy levels of blood pressure. To do so, the brain sends signals to the heart to speed up or slow down according to the blood pressure.pH
The lungs control the pH amount in the body. If pH levels become unbalanced, the lungs push more or less carbon dioxide out of the diaphragm. This can raise or lower pH levels in the body.

Which of the following statements are true regarding pathogens?
dexar [7]

Answer:

Regarding pathogens, the statement that is true is that viruses cannot reproduce on their own.

Explanation:

Viruses are pathogenic agents not considered as living beings, since they are only constituted by genetic material surrounded by a viral capsid, besides not fulfilling vital functions.

These agents are unable to reproduce on their own, so they need to place their genetic material —DNA or RNA— inside a host cell, to modify its nuclear DNA and be able to reproduce.

The other options are not correct because:

 • Influenza can cause an upset stomach. Influenza primarily affects the respiratory system.
 • Pathogens affect everyone equally. Each individual's immune response is different when exposed to the same pathogen.
 • Fungi are large, stoneflies organisms. The pathogenic fungi, such as Candida albicans and Trichophyton, are different from the mushrooms and fungi that can be seen in soil or decomposed organic matter.
