How should supermarket associates respond when a customer asks them a question in a rude manner? Let the customer know that he/s

he wants to be treated with respect. Simply walk away from the customer. An associate should continue to smile and try to be of some help in this type of situation. Sometimes an associate must ask the customer to calm down and relax before helping him/her.

Answer:

An associate should continue to smile and try to be of some help in this type of situation.

Explanation: The customer might be frustrated because of the question they're about to ask the employee. Maybe if the employee helps with the question there frustration will end. :)

Answer: An associate should continue to smile and try to be of some help in this type of situation.

Explanation: As long as the customer is not being physically aggressive and is merely just rude, there is really no need to implement the other strategies. Also, being polite to the rude customer will help to diffuse the situation.

Hope this helps! :)

Given that the P(A) = .3, P(B) = .5 and P(AnB) = .25, decide if the
Darina [25.2K]

Answer:

A and B are not independent

Explanation:

Given

P(A) = .3,

P(B) = .5

P(A\ n\ B) = .25

Required

Determine if A and B are independent

If A and B are independent, then:

P(A\ n\ B) = P(A) * P(B)

Substitute values for P(A) and P(B)

P(A\ n\ B) = .3 * .5

P(A\ n\ B) = .15

The calculated value of P(A n B) and the given value of P(A n B) are not equal.

i.e.

.15 \ne .25

Hence, A and B are not independent
