Answer:

The area of the largest circular disk that he can cut from this sheet of aluminum is <u>452.16 in²</u>.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Mr.Gork has square sheet of aluminum that measure 24 in on each side.

Now, to find the area of the largest circular disk that he can cut from this sheet of aluminum.

<u><em>As, the side of the square sheet of aluminum is given 24 in.</em></u>

<u><em>So, the  diameter of the largest circular disk that he can cut from this sheet of aluminum is 24 in.</em></u>

Now, we get the radius of the circular disk:

Radius (r) = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius (r) = 24\div2 = 12\ in.

And, now to get the area of the circular disk we put formula:

Area=\pi r^2

( Taking, π = 3.14 )

Area=3.14\times (12)^2\\\\Area=3.14\times 144\\\\Area=452.16\ in^2.

Therefore, the area of the largest circular disk that he can cut from this sheet of aluminum is 452.16 in².

Answer: 10

Step-by-step explanation:

So since this is all about perimeter you just got to add the values together. So lets use 12 as the denominator for every fraction. 1/4 is equal to 3/12 and 2/3 is equal to 8/12. So in conclusion 3/12 plus 8/12 and 1/12 will equal 1 in total. and then add up all the whole numbers 4 + 2 + 3 + 1 will get you 10. So 10 is your answer.
