Which of the following is not true concerning Rainforests?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]
The correct answer is A. rainforests are responsible for most global oxygen turnover.
This is not true because rainforests, even though they have a lot of trees, are very humid, and actually take up a lot of oxygen to be able to 'feed' the vegetation found there. Other forests actually provide most oxygen in the world, but not rainforests. The other options are correct.

Why did harriet beecher stowe's novel, uncle tom's cabin (1852), influence northern attitudes toward slavery?
Sidana [21]

Harriet Beechers novel uncle tom's cabin was used to show how slavery was evil on a particular race and why the practice had to be abolished in the nation by all of the people who hated it.

What was uncle tom's cabin about?

This was the story that had the main character as Uncle Tom. he was one of the enslaved black men in the United States that did not have their rights. The story showed him as a noble person who was steadfast despite the issues that he faced.

The use of this story was used to show the white Northerners how evil slavery was and the reasons why the blacks had to be free fro it. Hence it was one of the ways that the Northerners were persuaded in the fight against slavery.
