I'm not fully sure but if i were to put it in my own words i would say that if an author focuses on a characterization then there would be some important about the character and that he/she is allowing you to see things that characters way because when a author does characterization they might possibly bring in what the character is thinking about, and when you know what a character is thinking about it can help the reader with the theme in some cases.

Which of the following are examples of coordinate headings?
Paraphin [41]

Answer:

B. A, B, C

Explanation:

Coordinate headings assume using the same type of marking for starting a new chapter. Those can be Arabic or Roman numerals, uppercase and lowercase numerals, cardinal and ordinal numbers, but the author should always use just one of them, not a mixture.

Only in the answer B we find such a marking with using uppercase letters A, B and C.

On the other three answers we have a mixture of Arabic and Roman numerals, uppercase and lowercase letters.

“You, the Five Nations Confederate Lords, be firm so that if a tree falls on your joined arms it shall not separate or weaken yo
saveliy_v [14]

It indicates that the Lords’ commitment to the Five Nations must be unbreakable.

There are a number of documents which tells about the founding of Iroquois. Arthur C. Parker, Archeologist of the State Museum in New York gave a new version of it in “The Constitution of the Five Nations - or - The Iroquois Book of the Great Law.”

A Confederacy of the five nations was founded by Dekanawida in which while holding the hands of the other four members, he spoke these lines. He focuses on this issue that in any case, they would not leave the hands as this may hurt and make a loss to everyone. He adds that if hands are joined, the falling tree (problems) would make no effect on them. Only they have to be firm and keep patience and remain themselves in a group.

bazaltina [42]

Answer:

1: Topic of the discussion is Global Warming.

2: The audience of the discussion is Jorge's class fellows.

3: The Purpose of the discussion is improving student's presentation skills and knowledge about the topic.

4: Level of formality is semi-formal.

Explanation:

1:

The phrase "Jorge reviewed his notes about global warming before presenting to the class" tells us that the topic of Jorge’s presentation is "Global Warming” (a gradual increase in earth’s overall average temperature because of the increase in greenhouse effect). The students also had to discuss this topic and ask questions from Jorge after his short presentation.

2:

"share their findings with the class" shows that Jorge’s audience is his class. The primary audience and main focus of Jorge’s presentation is his class, however their teacher Mrs. Herbert would also be present as an observer and for final evaluation. So he has to prepare his presentation keeping both (students and teacher) in mind. He has to explain all the concepts and technical terms considering his class level.

3:

"after his short presentation, the class would ask questions and discuss" this phrase shows that the purpose of the discussion is to share the knowledge and improve students' presentation skills. First they have to do a proper research and include relevant, clear and correct content in right order. They will also get a chance to explain some difficult concepts and topics.

4: Level of Formality

We choose highly formal style when talking to unknown audience or during job interviews, writing academic essays, presentations or letters to someone whom we don’t know personally.

We select semi-formal style when talking to well-known individuals, like our teachers and elders,

And we use informal style only with our very close friends with whom we usually spend a lot of time, like class mates, team mates etc.
