We have to find how many players are there?

Now, for 5 yankee fans ⇒ 4 red sox fans

Then, for 200 yankee fans ⇒ “n” red sox fans

So, by chris cross method,

$\begin{array}{l}{5 \times n=4 \times 200} \\\\ {\rightarrow 5 n=800 \rightarrow n=160}\end{array}$

So, there are 200 yankee fans and 160 red sox fans

Then, total number of fans = 200 yankee + 160 red sox = 360 fans
