Answer:

C. No. It would imply that adding more of both inputs keeps output constant.

Explanation:

Isoquant is an indifference curve from the manufacturers point of view, basically it is a curve which represents the combinations of two inputs providing same output.

It is basic that if quantity of one input is increased the other will decrease, to have the same quantity of output at various combinations.

Thus, in case if the quantity of both the inputs increase then the output will automatically increase.

And in that case only the slope will be upward which is impossible.

Olin [163]

Answer:

48,000 units ; 46,000 units ; 46,000 units

Explanation:

The computation of the equivalent units is shown below:

For Material

= Units transferred out × completion percentage + ending work in process units × completion percentage

= 42,000 × 100% + 8,000 × 75%

= 42,000 units + 6,000 units

= 48,000 units

For Labor

= Units transferred out × completion percentage + ending work in process units × completion percentage

= 42,000 × 100% + 8,000 × 50%

= 42,000 units + 4,000 units

= 46,000 units

For Overhead

= Units transferred out × completion percentage + ending work in process units × completion percentage

= 42,000 × 100% + 8,000 × 50%

= 42,000 units + 4,000 units

= 46,000 units

Demand

Explanation:

Service systems are available to facilitate the customers. Similarly, service systems are designed in such a way to have enough capacity to assist numerous people. According to this excerpt, what is one major way in which the world bank differs from a regular bank?
GenaCL600 [577]
The world bank is not a real bank that gives people loans or where you can have a savings account. It is a body or an organization that monitors the work of all banks in the world that agree to join the system. It creates rules and regulations regarding money and fights things like money laundering and similar.

You estimate Bayleaf Inc. has free cash flows of $70 million arriving in 1 year, $74 million in 2 years, and $80 million in 3 ye
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

If no information of how many years expected for the FCF in Bayleaf, then I assume you expect FCF in 4 years only.

Then the Enterprise Value of Bayleaf is nil, since its valuation is negative of roughly $19,871.

However if we expect to have FCF in 20 years, in which the growth rate of FCF in year 4th is 3% year on year, then the valuation of Bay Leaf Inc. is roughly $347 million.

Explanation:

The valuation of enterprise is Net present value (NPV) of Free Cash Flow (FCF) minus its Net Debt

In the NPV, the discount rate is weighted average cost of capital (WACC); thus we can calculate NPV of FCF in Bayleaf by this function in excel = NPV(14%,70000,74000,80000) = $221,129,242

Then the valuation of company if considering FCF in 4 years is ($19,871)= NPV of FCF – Net Debt = $221,129,242 - $241,000,000

Please see excel attached for your details.
