Carol Gilligan was a research assistant to famous psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg in the 1970's

She discussed male and female moral modes of reasoning. She made a distinction between the outlooks between the "feminine" and "masculine" outlooks.

She thought that the feminine outlook towards moral reasoning focused on caring, as opposed to the masculine outlook towards moral reasoning that focused on justice.

The difference between the two moral modes of reasoning, according to Gilligan, was due to the fact the women and men were socialized differently. Women were more interested in interpersonal relationships and the caring of others from a young age.

Why does Egypt have so much fertile soil?
BabaBlast [244]
Egypt's fertile soil historically is largely a result of the Nile River and the sediment that the river deposits along its banks during flood seasons and also in its delta year round. This has been changed dramatically since the building of the Aswan Dam.

A group of four-year-old children watch a video showing an adult hitting, kicking, and punching a large Bobo doll. They also vie
horsena [70]

Answer:

It is very probable that the children will replicate the aggressive behavior they have watched.

Explanation:

The experiment described in the question was performed by famous psychologist Albert Bandura with the purpose of verifying the connection between observational learning and aggressive behavior in children. Observational learning is the learning of something without having actually performed it or having been rewarded or punished for it. It is the learning resulting from observing others do something and the consequences of their actions.

The children who were exposed to the video of the adult behaving aggressively by kicking and punching the Bobo doll were more likely to do the same when given the chance to play with the doll. Watching the adult in the video be rewarded for his behavior increased that possibility, while seeing the adult get punished decreased it.

OLEGan [10]

Explanation:

Acid rain results when sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) are emitted into the atmosphere and transported by wind and air currents. The SO2 and NOX react with water, oxygen and other chemicals to form sulfuric and nitric acids. These then mix with water and other materials before falling to the ground.
