Answer: A. Dandelion, because it is wind pollinated.

Explanation:

Pollination is a process of transfer of pollen grains from male reproductive part of flower (anther) to female part (ovary). In plants certain agents are involved for transfering the pollen grains from one plant to another. Like wind, water, animals and birds. This facilitates the mechanism of cross pollination.

Wind pollination or anemophily is a process of distribution of pollen grains by wind.

Among the options given, A. Dandelion, because it is wind pollinated is the correct option. This is because pollen are small fine particles which can be blown by air. They may enter the nostrils with the respirable air and may cause allergy and even respiratory obstruction.

both sickle cell disease and cystic fibrosis. dominant X-linked disease. Gene variations on the X chromosome are the root cause of X-linked diseases. A variation in the one copy of the gene present in each cell is what causes the condition in males (who have only one X chromosome).

Red-green color blindness and hemophilia A: Red-green color blindness are two examples of X-linked diseases. Red-green color blindness is simply the inability to distinguish between the many hues of red and green.

Males who are hemizygous (i.e., have only one X chromosome) will fully express an X-linked disease. Females, who have two X chromosomes, on the other hand, will typically be carriers of the abnormality and are hence typically asymptomatic.

Jlenok [28]
I believe (not sure) that the answer is B, viruses must invade their host before being able to reproduce.

I remember seeing a diagram of the general life of a virus, and I remember seeing the virus sticking to a cell, merging in, and reproducing thereafter (sort of like a factory). Once again, I am not sure and the answer may as well be another one.
