The shipping fee is $30

= 250×12/100
= 2.5 ×12
= 5/2×12
=60/2
=30

Think of it this way: Make the 250 25 and the 0.12 to 1.2 to make it easier to multiply. Then, you multiply 25 by 1, and then by 2. You divide the answer you got from 2*25 by 10, to keep the decimal place in place (you get 5). Then, you add the products of 25*1 and 25*0.2, and get 30 in all.

Hope this helps!

Ellie baked 24 chocolate chip cookies.

Jamie baked p peanut butter cookies.

Alisiya [41]

Answer:

Margret need to get 4 boxes of cookies.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total friends = 3

Cookies each friend will get = 8

Each box has cookies = 6 cookies

How many boxes does Margret need to get?

Total cookies will be= Total friends x Cookies each friend will get

Total cookies will be= 3 x 8 = 24

If one box has 6 cookies and we need total 24 cookies so, divide 24 by 6 to get number of boxes

Number of boxes = Total cookies/ number of cookies in one box

Number of boxes = 24/6

Number of boxes  = 4

So, Margret need to get 4 boxes of cookies.

The center of a hyperbola is (−4,3) , and one vertex is (−4,7) . The slope of one of the asymptotes is 2.
Monica [59]

Answer:

The answer to your question is below

Step-by-step explanation:

C (-4, 3)

V (-4, 7)

asymptotes = 2 = \frac{b}{a}

- This is a vertical hyperbola, the equation is

       \frac{(y - k)^{2} }{a^{2} } + \frac{(x - h)^{2} }{b^{2} } = 1

slope = 2

a is the distance from the center to the vertex = 4

b = 2(4) = 8

       \frac{(y - 3)^{2} }{4^{2} } + \frac{(x + 4)^{2} }{8^{2} } = 1

       \frac{(y - 3)^{2} }{16} + \frac{(x + 4)^{2} }{64} = 1
