It is the kind of work that doesn't require employees to travel or commute by train or bus to a central work-space  such as an office. With advent of technology and internet, employees can do work remotely by the use of their mobile phones, land lines laptops and computers. Telecommuting overtime have been seen to improve employee's quality of life because of reduced commuting; frequent travels and traffic jams can impact health as a result of stress.  This also reduce air pollution and congestion caused by cars.
