In their research, Postmes and Spears wanted to discover whether being anonymous could make a person more or less violent or anti social than when he is identified. This was based on a previous assumption that stated that people tend to engage in more violent behaviour if they are anonymous.

However, their research revealed that anonimity, group size and reduced self awareness are not particularly linked to anti normative behaviour. Instead, they found that the difference lied in the importance of situation-specific norms, rather than general social norms.

What was one problem of the Articles of Confederation?
shtirl [24]

Answer:

One problem of the Articles of Confederation was:

A. It didn't give enough power to the government.

Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation is considered the first written constitution of the United States. However, unlike the Constitution we know and respect nowadays, the Articles failed. There are several problems we could mention here but, among the options given, the one that deserves our attention is A. It didn't give enough power to the government.

With the Articles of Confederation, there was practically a non-existing central government. Since the states were sovereign, each state had the power to govern itself. However, a system to hold the states accountable or to enforce the laws was not created. The central government was weak.
