The way you can figure this out better is if you use one then 1/10 of 1 is .1 so 1/10 of 0.7 is 0.07 because you put the decimal point one place to the left of last time. This can be seen in my example of 1/10 of 1 is 0.1 Because in 1 it looks like this: 1.0 then you made it from 1.0 to 0.1 that is how you know that 1/10 of 0.7 is 0.07.

0.7 can also be written as 7/10. All you need to do is multiply 7/10 by 1/10. You will get 7/100 which is 0.07

VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of students in her class = x students

x is 2 more than a multiple of 4

This means x is an even number because multiples of 4 are even and adding 2 does not change its parity.

X is also 1 more than a multiple of 5. And we know x is and even number it has to be a multiple of 5 ending in 5, not 0. So 5 + 1 is 6.

All multiples of 4 ending in six are 16, 36, 56 ..... and so on

Since there are 15 girls and lower no of boys we need to find out which number of boys are there in 16, 36, 56.

16- 15 = 1

36 - 15 = 21

And 21 is more than 15 therefore the answer is 16 students. 15 girls and 1 boy.

Please help me with b and d . (zoom out to see full photo).

B. might be 4/x=3/4. I'm no mathematician, but if it's wrong, blame my teacher. d would probably be something. I'm no good with numbers.

(115) the product of integers x, y, and z is even. is z even?
djyliett [7]
1. X/Y = Z

if x = 6, y = 2, then z = 3, not even

if x = 6, y = 3, then z = 2, even

2. Z=XY

so (z)^2 = 2*k (because x*y*z = 2k, where k is an integer)

Sufficient, as if square of an integer is even ,then the integer is even

Please help fast!!!! trig/ geometry

Answer:

b = 5.7

A = 51.1°

B = 38.9°

Step-by-step explanation:

a = 7

c = 9

✔️Find b using Pythagorean theorem:

b = √(9² - 7²) ≈ 5.7

✔️Find A using trigonometric function:

Reference angle = A

Opposite = a = 7

Hypotenuse = c = 9

Apply SOH:

sin(A) = \frac{Opp}{Hyp}

sin(A) = \frac{7}{9}

A = sin^{-1}(\frac{7}{9})

A = 51.0575587° = 51.1°

✔️B = 180 - (90 + 51.1) (sum of triangles)

B = 38.9°
