The gases which is filled in the container does not stay in a part of container because of the fact of the properties of the gaseous matter.

Explanation:

The gaseous matter have the property to have no fixed shape or volume. This is in turn because their atoms or molecules are not compact in a form, they have a large inter molecular space which makes the atoms to be spread.

The inter molecular space is large because the inter molecular attraction forces are weak. Therefore they are free to move or vibrate at a high speed and thus when poured into a container, occupied the whole space.

9. 6.15/1.6 = 3.84 m/s

10. 6.76/1.8 = 3.76 m/s

11. 7.37/2.0 = 3.66 m/s

12. 7.92/2.2 = 3.6 m/s

13. 8.45/2.4 = 3.52 m/s

14. 8.96/2.6 = 3.45 m/s

s it possible for a system to have negative potential energy? Is it possible for a system to have negative potential energy? No,
frez [133]

Answer: Yes it possible for a system to have negative potential energy, since the choice of the zero of potential energy is arbitrary.

Explanation:

Potential energy is defined as the energy present in an object due to its position.

Mathematically, P.E = mgh

A potential energy can be negative also. This is because zero potential energy is arbitrary. For example, at the top of a building the choice of potential energy can be zero.

Therefore, the potential energy below the building will be negative.
