Answer:

You need to see 30 more movies to earn 100 points.

Step-by-step explanation:

You earn 2 advantages points every time you see a movie at the theater.

You need to earn 100 points to get a free movie pass.

Currently, you have 40 advantages points.

If you watch m movies you get = 2m points

You have 40 points so you need = 100 - 40 more points

So the equation will be = 2m = 100 - 40    [after combining like term]

2m = 60    [divide both side by 2]

m = 30

You need to see 30 more movies to earn 100 points.

1.y=2m+40     y=number of points needed

2.100=2m+40

60=2m

m=30

Ratio equivalents to 1:2
nata0808 [166]
2:4  3:6  4:8

Any ratio equals 1:2 as long as you can divide the first number by itself to get 1 and the second number with the 1st number.
Example
2:4
Divide the first number by 2 and you get 1
Divide the second number by 2 and you get 2
So the ratio equals 1:2
