Answer:

Unit rates are expressed as a quantity of 1, such as 3 feet per second or 6 miles per hour, they are called unit rates.

In the given table shows the number of pictures taken and how much time it took.

For first camera;

Number of pictures (unit rate) per second = \frac{15}{3} =5 pictures.

For second Camera:

Number of picture per second = \frac{48}{8} =6 pictures.

For third Camera:

Number of picture per second = \frac{18}{6} =3 pictures.

The camera that takes picture the fastest is, Second Camera.

(a)

As per the given statement: At Davidson's Bike rentals, it costs $29 to rent a bike for 8 hour.

⇒ unit rate per dollar = \frac{Number of hours }{Total cost} = \frac{8}{29} = 0.2758620 hours

Therefore, 0.227 hours (nearest to hundredths) of bike use does a customer get per dollar.

(b)

Jessica bought 18 pounds of sugar for $10.

unit rate per dollar = \frac{18}{10} =1.8 pounds

therefore, 1.8 pounds of sugar did she get per dollar.

<span>Since there is no files attached to see the shape of the distribution, let us just have it this way:

The statement, "Because the two distributions displayed below have similar shapes, they have the same standard deviation." is false. This is false because distributions having the same mean and standard deviation can have very different shape of distribution. </span>

A force of 4 pound acts in the direction of 48degree to the horizontal. The force moves an object along a straight line from the
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

<u>Work Done = 27.66 Joules</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

The work done is:

W=F*d*Cos \theta

Where

F is the fore

d is the distance moved

\theta  is the angle

The force is "4"

The distance is the distance from (1,7) to (8,10)

The distance is the square root of change in y coordinates, squared and sum of change in x coordinates, squared. Hence, distance is:

\sqrt{(10-7)^2+(8-1)^2}\\=\sqrt{3^2+7^2}\\\sqrt{58}

The angle is gotten by the formula:

Cos\phi = \frac{Force in x direction}{Distance}\\Cos\phi = \frac{8-1}{\sqrt{58}}\\Cos\phi=\frac{7}{\sqrt{58}}\\\phi = Cos^{-1}\frac{7}{\sqrt{58}}\\\phi = 23.21

So, now:

\theta = 48 - 23.21 = 24.79

Work Done = F*d * Cos\theta = 4 * \sqrt{58} * Cos(24.79)

<u>Work Done = 27.66 Joules</u>
