Answer:

D. Egg travels from the ovary into the fallopian tube.

Explanation:

A woman menstrual cycle is calculated from day one of her menstrual flow until the first day of the next menstrual cycle. On average, women menstrual cycle has 28-32 days. Release of ova or ovulation is calculated by counting the first day of the last menstrual period or by counting 12-16 days from the next expected period. During this period egg or ova travels from the ovary into the fallopian tube.

The correct answer is B. The egg travels through the fallopian tube to the uterus.

Explanation:

The Menstrual Cycle is a natural cycle women experience and that is related to the reproductive system. This cycle lasts around 28 days and it is divided into four stages or weeks. In the first stage menstruation occurs which lasts from 3 to 7 days; in the second stage or follicular phase the follicle in the ovary produce eggs which is related to hormones such as follicle-stimulating hormone; in the third stage one egg that has completely matured is released in the ovary and travel through the fallopian tube to the uterus where it can be fertilized; finally, during the fourth week if the egg is fertilized it implants and if not the hormone levels drop and this cause menstruation again. According to this, during the 3rd week or stage, "the egg travels through the fallopian tube to the uterus".

Transcription is the process by which the DNA molecule makes an RNA molecule using enzyme RNA polymerase and other proteins. The mRNA is then used to generate proteins by a process called translation which occurs in the cytoplasm. Transcription occurs in the nucleus because DNA cannot leave the nucleus.
