The two trends that may likely be pushing the Okinawa people from eating more fast food are because of the following;

-          Time

-          Technology

It is because in today’s modern world, people are more likely to pick choices that are not time consuming in which their traditional way of cooking food is time consuming, where as eating at a fast food restaurant is much faster and does not consume most of the customer’s time when waiting.

Technology has become the mindset or focus of people as it is more convenient and makes people way of doing things more faster than traditional ways in which fast food restaurants are more engaged in and are likely to use technologies that are convenient for their way of serving food and for their customers to receive their order in the fastest way possible.
