Why do you think people around the world had such a difficult time comprehending the
kotegsom [21]

I believe people had a really hard time comprehending the events that took place because it was so horrible it couldn'tbe real. people didn't want to believe that people could do that to other living beings. when Americans first heard about it they thought it was dramatic because how would it come to that, it took going through the concentration camps to believe it.

When it comes to Foreign policy, Do you think that the U.S. should get involved with other countries problems/conflicts? Why or
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

Our country is not exactly a role model. We're racist, antisemitic, sexist, and more. Our democracy falls apart more and more, day by day.

Why should we act as if we're so great and try to spread our image to other places, when we ourselves are falling apart at the seams. For example, we talk about spreading democracy, but just yesterday many of the GOP senators decided to skip the impeachment trial which is part of the job they were sworn in to do. 3 of them also were talking with DT, and they're jurors. Our country is corrupt and full of greed, and we have no right to pretend it's not. Until we can solve our own problems and become a country that's equal for all, we have no place telling other countries what to do!

What methods did the Dutch East India Company use to control trade in Indonesia
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

The colonial period of Indonesia did not immediately start when the Dutch first arrived in the archipelago at the end of the 16th century. ... In 1796 the VOC went bankrupt and was nationalized by the Dutch state. As a consequence its possessions in the archipelago passed into the hands of the Dutch crown in 1800.

Throughout the 1620s the Dutch East India Company further colonized Indonesia's islands and the presence of Dutch plantations growing cloves and nutmeg for export grew across the region. At this time the Dutch East India Company, like other European trading companies, used gold and silver to buy spices.

Dutch East India Company, byname of United East India Company, Dutch Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie, trading company founded in the Dutch Republic (present-day Netherlands) in 1602 to protect that state's trade in the Indian Ocean and to assist in the Dutch war of independence from Spain.
