Why may judicial interpretations of the U.S constitution change over time?select all that apply.

History
1 answer:
Ad libitum [116K]3 years ago

I would say A) evolving attitudes of the public, D) current events, and E) ideologies of individual justices.

I don't think B is correct because the judicial branch is supposed to act as a check against the executive branch and therefore cannot be instructed to rule a certain way by any president, and I don't think C is correct because changes to the bill of rights would have less impact on interpretation of the constitution and more of an impact on the constitution/law itself

Why is Fredrick Jackson Turner's "The Significance of the American Frontier in American History" considered inaccurate?
Savatey [412]

Turner's main point in his thesis was that the frontier played the most significant part in American History and that majority of history took place around the colonization of the West.

His arguments are considered innacurate because what mostly dominates American History are the Civil War, industrialization, slavery and immigration. He also ignores the existance of native americans who lived out of the settled area.

trapecia [35]

It represents the religious views of Buddhism.Buddhism is a spiritual tradition that preaches to avoid human suffering. Most causes of this suffering are linked to the idea of losing something which is considered valuable. Then, in the teaching You only lose what you cling to Gautama is explaining that the less you consider you actually possess, the best.Too much attachment to one´s belongings will result in torture and pain when you are deprived of them.
