What is the difference of (3/4x-2/3)-(-5/6-2x)

Mathematics

This equation is also equal to 3/4x - 2/3 + 5/6 + 2x since subtracting a negative is the same as adding a positive in the long run. First, simplify the variables to get 2 3/4x - 2/3 + 5/6. -2/3 is also equal to -4/6, so -4/6 + 5/6 is 1/6. The simplified version of this expression is 2 3/4x + 1/6. Hope this helps!

Answer:

  Negative, because the product (-7)(-2) is positive, and the product (-5)(1) is negative and the product of a positive and a negative number is negative

Step-by-step explanation:

Negative, because there is an odd number of negative factors. The above explanation is reasonable, too.

How to price estimate flooring installation?
WINSTONCH [101]
If you were to find the price estimate flooring for a room, you would first find the square measurements of the room. This means you need to fine the area of the room in feet. For example, you have a perfect square room with two sides that equal 15 ft. You multiply those two sides so the estimate square footage of the room is 300 square feet.

Depending on the price of the flooring you want, you then multiply the cost of the flooring by 300 square feet to get a estimated price.

I hope this helps!

Solve the equation for y 2.7 = 5.4y - 8.1x
Lelechka [254]
First, you got to the answer for x which is 0.5. After you plug in that, you solve for y and that'll be 1.25. You have to take off the y to solve for the x though. So like this:

2.7 =5.4 -8.1x                                          2.7  =5.4y -8.1(0.5)
+8.1x       +8.1x                                       2.7  =5.4y -4.05
10.8x/10.8=5.4/10.8                              +4.05 =5.4y +4.05
x=0.5                                                      6.75/5.4 =5.4y/5.4
                                                                   1.25=y

I hoped that helped.
