1."Our constitution works" , in other words : the laws are what govern the people not the people. Basically you follow the rules because they are the law, not because someone is making you.
2. Article II, Section 2. paragraph 1 of the US Constitution allows the President to grant pardons for crimes against the US Government, not involving impeachment. Incoming President Gerald R. Ford pardoned Richard Nixon on 8 August 1974, the day before Nixon's resignation on 9 August 1974.

Does the cyclops respect zeus, as odysseus does? Explain
oee [108]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Cyclops were wild race of lawless creatures who possess neither social manners nor fear of gods. The Greek god Zeus played a major role as a protector of guests thus embodied the religious obligation to be hospitable to travelers.  However cyclops Polyphemus showed lack of Zeus, despite Odysseus' reminders, and refused to honor the travelers' requests.

Describe at least one of the principles of the Constitution, and identify its importance.
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

One of the principles is the popular sovereignty principle. This means that the rule of the country belongs to the people instead of a sovereign and these people vote on governments. This way you ensure democratic principles and equality among people. If it wasn't for that then there would be a high chance of imposing tyranny like European countries had.
