What does this paragraph from federalist no 51 mean? “Justice is the purpose of government and civil society. If the government
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

Answer below because its longer :)

Explanation:

When they say "strong groups" they mean factions. These are interest groups basically. The framers of the constitution recognize that factions are inevitable but by creating a stronger central government, we can balance these factions and form a better government.

Remember, the federalists used these papers to support the new constitution. So this instilled some fear about the out comes of a weak central government that the Articles of confederation had.

Hope this is somewhat correct or useful! :D

Which factor most greatly limited union growth at the end of the 19th century?
Alexxandr [17]

Answer

Hostility of business towards unions

Explanation

A Union is a society or association formed by people with a common interest or purpose. In the 19th Century the labor movement in the United States grew out of the need to protect the common interest of workers. For those in the industrial sector, organized labor unions fought for better wages, reasonable hours and safer working conditions. Later these Unions  were unsuccessful  in improving work conditions because of government intervention. The United States government usually supported the businesses instead of the workers/labor unions because they increased the national wealth. Hostility of business towards unions was  also a  factor that  greatly limited  them.
