<span>When the earth spins in a certain direction, the ocean currents move in the opposite direction, sort of like when a car moves forward you are pulled backwards. However, there would still be wind and the gravitational pull of the moon which causes currents. The rotation of the earth just sort of "accents" these. So as a result, you would have many more smaller ocean current cycles.

Why did the plant cell plasmolyze when immersed in a hypertonic solution?
Marina CMI [18]

Plasmolysis can be defined as the process where cells lose water concentration in a hypertonic solution and this process leads to contraction or shrinkage of the pant cell protoplasm. However, water leaves the cell due to hyperosmotic solution because it contains solutes such as sorbitol, sucrose and mannitol.

How does your body become bigger
soldi70 [24.7K]
Muscle hypertrophy occurs when the fibers of the muscles sustain damage or injury. The body repairs damaged fibers by fusing them, which increases the mass and size of the muscles. Certain hormones, including testosterone, human growth hormone, and insulin growth factor, also play a role in muscle growth and repair.
