This right circular cone has a volume of 75π cubic inches. The height of the cone is 9 inches. What is the length of the radius?
sukhopar [10]
\bf \textit{volume of a cone}\\\\
V=\cfrac{\pi r^2 h}{3}\quad
\begin{cases}
r=radius\\
h=height\\
-----\\
V=75\pi \\
h=9
\end{cases}\implies 75\pi =\cfrac{\pi r^2\cdot 9}{3}\implies 75\pi =3\pi r^2
\\\\\\
\cfrac{75\pi }{3\pi }=r^2\implies 25=r^2\implies \sqrt{25}=r\implies 5=r

A school has an equal amount of boys and girls. You use a coin to simulate the first three students to arrive at school each day
Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:3/20

Step-by-step explanation:

Heads=Boy

Tails=Girl

If the first 3 students are boys, all 3 coins must be heads.

Because in 3 of these experiments, the coins all land on heads, and there are 20 experiments completed, 3 out of the 20 experiments are 3 boys; 3/20.

Please help. I will mark BRAINLIEST!<br> Match each equation with a graph above.
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Answer:

Orange, Green, Red, Blue

Step-by-step explanation:

1st equation

When x = 0,  -2 raised to the 0 power is -1 so y would be -1.

When x = 1, the exponent would be -1.  -2 to the power of -1 is the inverse of -2 which is - 1/2.

The only colored graph that has points at (0, -1) and (1, -1/2) is the orange graph.

2nd equation

When x = 0, 2 raised to the 0 power is 1 so y=1

When x =1, 2 raised to the power of 1 is 2 so y = 2

The graph that has points at (0, 1) and (1, 2) is the green graph

3rd equation

When x = 0, 2 raised to the -0 power is still equal to 1 so y would be 1.

When x = 1, 2 raised to the -1 power is the inverse of 2 which is 1/2.

The only graph with coordinates (0, 1) and (1, 1/2) is the red graph

4th equation

Only color left is the blue graph but the same concept can be used.

I'm not sure how to do this
VARVARA [1.3K]
It's A because if you divide any number of hours and it's corresponding distance from data table shown in A by a number to get one hour you get a distance of 25 kilometers, for example ; 2 hours and 50 kilometers, divide it by 2 to get 1 hour and 25 kilometers. Or 6 hours and 150 kilometers divided by 6 to get 1 hour and 25 kilometers Therefore it is 25 kilometers per hour .
