Answer:

Explanation:

Operating activities : It includes all activities related to the changes in the working capital or changes in the current assets and current liabilities.

The increase in current liabilities increase the cash and decrease in current liabilities decrease the cash, so the adjustment is made accordingly. But it is opposite with the current assets.

The Net cash in operating activities under indirect method is shown below:

= Net income + Depreciation expense - decrease in accounts payable + decrease in inventory - increase in accounts receivable

= $65,000 + $19,000 - $3,500 + $4,000 - $6,500

= $78,000

The other effect like increase in bond payable, sale of common stock for cash is classified under financing activities. Thus, it is not considered in computation part.

Hence, the Net cash in operating activities under indirect method is $78,000

Answer:

The long run is best defined as a time period

 • during which all inputs can be varied.

One thing that distinguishes the short run and the long run is

 • the existence of at least one fixed input.

Explanation:

On the long run, all productive inputs can be changed and/or altered. that includes fixed costs like equipment and machinery, building facilities, processes, wages, etc.

On the short run, at least one of the inputs used to produce our goods or services cannot be changed, e.g. wages tend to be sticky, fixed costs (depreciation of equipment and machinery, buildings, etc.)

lesya [120]

Yes, the annual fuel cost is different between the Guzzler and Non-Guzzler vehicles.

What is Guzzler vehicles?

 • In colloquial usage, a car that is thought to use a lot of fuel is referred to as a gas guzzler.
 • The IRS was in charge of collecting the gas guzzler tax, which only applied to cars (not trucks).
 • Other nations have imitated this move and implemented their own gas-guzzler taxes, such as Canada's "green levy."
 • As a part of the Energy Tax Act, the US government implemented the Gas Guzzler Tax.
 • When the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) regulations were created, the fee was also implemented to charge the purchase of inefficient automobiles.
 • Light trucks are not subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax; only vehicles designated as cars are.
 • The tax has been in place since 1991 and is applicable to vehicles having a combined fuel economy rating of less than 17.5 mpg US (13.4 L/100 km; 21.0 mpg imp).
