External costs are the costs that are not directly monetized and therefore the producer of the goods do not have to pay for it's effects. E waste is the waste that comes from the electronic devices and that is released in the bodies of water or in the soil.
The producer of electronic goods has to pay for the damage done to property caused by exploding substances or for compensating the workers who have been exposed to toxins. Sale tax also has to be paid by the producer for recycling the electronic products.
