Answer:he saves $76.8 by buying them at the bargain spot

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost of each basketball at the super D is 27.99

The cost of each basketball at the bargain spot is 21.59

If the coach buys a dozen basketballs, that is 12 basketballs,

The total cost of a dozen basketball at the super D is 27.99 × 12 = $335.88

The total cost of a dozen basketball at the bargain spot is 21.59 × 12 = $259.08

The amount saved by the coach by buying the basketballs at the bargain spot would be

335.88 - 259.08 = $76.8

What I did was 27.99-21.59 which equals 6.40 and then times that by 12 which brings you to 76.80

How are the values of the eights in 880 related
Neko [114]
<span>How the value of 8 in 880 related
=> 880 = 8 hundreds 8 tens
=> This given number is a whole numbers, thus the value of 8 in the hundreds place is ten times larger than the 8 In the tens place. How?
Try multiplying 8 tens by 10
=> 8 tens = 80
=> 80 x 10
=> 800
When 80 is multiplied by ten the answer is 800 and when 800 is divided by 10 the answer is 80.
That concludes that there’s 10 times difference between the two 8s in the given number.</span><span>

Which function f (x) , graphed below, or g (x) , whose equation is g (x) = 3 cos 1/4 (x + x/3) + 2, has the largest maximum and
Leya [2.2K]

Answer:

g(x), and the maximum is 5

Step-by-step explanation:

for given function f(x), the maximum can be seen from the shown graph i.e. 2

But for the function g(x), maximum needs to be calculated.

Given function :

g (x) = 3 cos 1/4 (x + x/3) + 2

let x=0 (as cosine is a periodic function and has maximum value of 1 at 0 angle)

g(x)= 3 cos1/4(0 + 0) +2

    = 3cos0 +2

     = 3(1) +2

     = 3 +2

     = 5 !

#10) Mrs. Sommer states that angle I is 65 degrees. Is she correct? why or why not
Minchanka [31]

Answer: Mrs. Somner is correct.

Step-by-step explanation: In a triangle, the angles add up to 180 degrees. Since we know that Triangle ABC is equal to Triangle RST, we can assume that their angle values are equal as well. Angle A is 41 degrees, and Angle B is 74 degrees. This adds up to 115 degrees. If we subtract 115 from 180, we get 65. Therefore, Mrs. Somner is correct.

A 1x1 square and an n-tiling is a group of n tiles placed so that every tile is contiguous along at least one side to another ti
bixtya [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The first picture below shows the missing image in the question.

There are 4 edges of each tile;

This clearly explains to us that the total number of edges present in the n tiles is 4n.

Now, if a tile "X" touches and comes in contact with another tile "Y", then edges touching each other are one edge of a tile X and one edge of a tile Y.

From the second diagram below, the edge, X_2, and Y_4 are touching each other.

Now, the total number of edges that touch some edges is always even.

We can now say that:

The edge length of filling = No. of edges that do not touch another file

= Total no. of edges  -  No. of edges that touch another edge.

However, the total number of edges is even.

The number of edges that touch another edge is also even.

Thus, the difference is also even and the number of edges that do not touch another is even.

So, the edge length of filling is always even.
