It granted women the right to vote. It became a centerpiece in women rights. Married women couldn’t own property, had no legal claim to any money they earned, and not a right to vote. They had to focus on housework and motherhood. NO POLITICS! This movement really took a mark in our history.

Which statement is true of both Dove’s poem and Kahlo’s painting? They indicate the importance of natural elements in Kahlo’s li
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

They indicate the importance of natural elements in Kahlo’s life.

Explanation:

The poem "Sonnet in Primary Colors" and the painting Self-Portrait with Monkey and Parrot both put a strong emphasis on the natural elements that were very important in Frida Kahlo's life.

Kahlo was a great lover of nature; she always kept a garden in her house and she found animals important. Elements of flora and fauna can often be seen at her paintings, and this one is no exception. We see her in the garden or the field of bright colors accompanies by the monkey and the parrot with whom she stands in peace.

The poem also explains the importance of it, using many natural imageries when talking about Frida. Dove says she is "erect among parrots", compare her clothes to the peasant clothes (someone who works on the field, in nature, with plants and animals) and writes "wildflowers entwining the plaster corset". This refers to the corset Kahlo had to wear due to the back injury, which Dove here says is entwining with wildflowers, accenting Frida's connection with nature.

Rita Dove's poem "Sonnet in Primary Colors" and Frida Kahlo's painting Self-Portrait with Monkey and Parrot are in the attachment below.

Which is the best example of a persuasive thesis statement?
aev [14]
It would be C because it is the only one that you could write a full essay on. It makes it vague enough so that you can cover all the areas that you want to be able to prove and persuade the reader into also thinking that, that particular book is better than the author's other books. That thesis gives you your foundation so that then you can work from the ground up, and it makes it easier to persuade, because like I said, it's vague and you can include every single one of your points to be made into the essay. The other options focus too much on one minute detail of the story, that you wouldn't really even have an essay.

In the introduction to his book, Sedlacek uses the Czech legend of St. Prokop (who harnesses the devil to plough his field) as a
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

This argument makes sense.

Explanation:

The invisible hand is a concept associated with the economy that refers to the ability to generate economic (or social) goods through an individual who works for himself and generates those goods in a way that these goods are available to society unintentionally, since you don't care about anything but yourself.

Taking into account that this concept states that some people can generate good situations for society through a selfish and evil reason, we can agree that the argument shown in the question above makes sense.
