See explanations on angles in an isosceles triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

5. ∠H=∠J⇒True, base angles of an isosceles triangle are equal

6. HK=KJ ⇒Trues, length of a line segments with same midpoint are equal

7.∠HKI=∠JKI ⇒True, both angles=90°

8.ΔHIK≅ΔJIH⇒False, the triangles are not similar,ΔHKI≅ΔJKI⇒True,the triangles are similar

9.IK is an altitude⇒True, an altitude of a triangle is a line segment drawn through a vertex  I and perpendicular to a line containing the base HJ

10. IK is a median⇒True, a median of a triangle is a line segment joining a vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side hence bisecting that side.

2/3÷2⁴+(3/4+1/6)÷1/3<br> How do you figure this out
Alecsey [184]

Answer: \frac{67}{24}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{2}{3} /2^{4}+(\frac{3}{4} +\frac{1}{6})/\frac{1}{3} \\\\\frac{2}{3} /2^{4}+ \frac{11}{12} /\frac{1}{3} = \frac{2}{3} /16+ \frac{11}{12} /\frac{1}{3}

Use the rule a÷b/c=a*c/b

\frac{2}{3} *\frac{1}{16}+ \frac{11}{12}/ \frac{1}{3}

Use the rule a/b*c/d=ac/bd

\frac{2}{3*16}+ \frac{11}{12}/ \frac{1}{3} \\\\\frac{2}{48} +\frac{11}{12}/ \frac{1}{3} \\\\\frac{1}{24}+\frac{11}{12}/\frac{1}{3}

Use the rule a÷b/c=a*c/b

\frac{1}{24} +\frac{11}{12} *3

Use the rule a/b*c=ac/b

\frac{1}{24}+ \frac{11*3}{12}

Simplify three times then you're done.

\frac{1}{24}+ \frac{33}{12}= \frac{1}{24}+ \frac{11}{4} =\frac{67}{24}

Hope this helps, HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! As well as a great Superbowl Weekend! :-)

I don't understand can someone help please.

Answer:  The point where the two graphed lines cross is the solution to the system of equations.  (1, -1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The second equation is already in slope-intercept form y = x - 2

the slope is +1 (invisible coefficient of x) and the y-intercept is -2

y = mx +b

"m" is the slope (the coefficient of x) Positive slopes go up from left to right

"b" is the y-intercept, where the graphed line crosses the x-axis

Rewrite the first equation in slope-intercept form.

6x + y = 5   subtract 6x from both sides

<em>-6x</em> + 6x +y = -<em>6x</em> + 5 .( left side 6x + 6x =0 so "cancel")

y = -6x + 5

Then you know the slope and the intercepts

b = 5  so start with a point at +5 in the y-axis

m = -6 so from there go down 6 and over to the right 1 square and plot another point. Draw a straight line through the two points.

The point where the two graphed lines cross is the solution to the system of equations.

Your graph should look like the screenshot below.
