You can then draw a point at the co-ordinate (10,10), the point is there to tell you that the equation is true at that point. You can then pick another x, say x=9, then you know y=9 and you can put a point at (9,9), so you know the equation is true at that point also. You can do this with any number that you pick for x, and if you did that for every number, all the points you draw would turn into a line.
