Fungal diseases are commonly treated with ointments, creams, and over-the-counter medicine.  The most effective way to prevent germs from spreading is to wash your hands with soap and water or with hand sanitizer regularly. You should also throw away used tissues as soon as possible. Additionally, cover your mouth and nose if you cough or sneeze.
