Explanation:

In mil gram experiment, the test subjects were informed that they have the power to electrocute other person along with information regarding how much voltage they can use before it become dangerous to the other person.

Initially, most subjects refuse to electrocute the other person to the point of danger.

But, the interesting part is, when the subjects are faced with someone that they consider as an authority (part of the experimenters team), they are much more willing to electrocute the other person to the point of serious harm.

In the end, the experiment conclude that in the presence of authority, a lot of people will be willing to abandon their personal belief in order to obey that authority figure.
